During this talk, the key elements of music and specifically Persian music are discussed, including the scales and modal systems, history, rhythms, and instruments. They will also gain an understanding of the diverse regional styles and cultural influences that have shaped Persian music over the centuries, and it will have live Santour (hammer dulcimer) performance at the end.
